Landasan utamanya adalah tauhid sebagai inti dari pandangan hidup Islam, yang kemudian membentuk cara pandang terhadap manusia, jiwa, dan proses pendidikan.<\/span><\/p><p><span dir=\"auto\">Unsur-unsur psikologis dalam Al-Qur&#8217;an seperti hati, jiwa, dan ruh memiliki fungsi tidak hanya kognitif, tetapi juga spiritual dan moral. Dengan demikian, pendekatan Islam terhadap psikologi pendidikan menempatkan proses belajar sebagai bagian dari perjalanan penyucian jiwa, pembentukan akhlak, dan pencapaian tujuan hidup manusia sebagai hamba dan khalifah di bumi. Maka, pendidikan harus mampu menyesuaikan pendekatan dengan potensi tersebut, bukan menyeragamkannya.
